National Able Network Was The Springboard For Everything

| Read Our Blog Read Our Blog Blog “National Able Network was the springboard for everything.” Lloret De Mar Pelayo December 5, 2019 Workforce three Daryl Parker was in full job search mode. He went to a job fair in an interview outfit, fully prepared and totally hoping to find his profession future. “I was unemployed and my spouse is retired, and we have been struggling financially,” says Daryl. He was extraordinarily motivated to get back into the workforce. At this job fair he met with a recruiter who thought Daryl might be the proper candidate within the industrial driving business. However, Daryl would want his Commercial Drivers License (CDL), so he went to National Able Network’s Near West American Job Center in Pilsen to start his new career journey. When arriving at the Near West American Job Center, Daryl remembers how useful receptionist, Maria Castillo, was in getting him oriented and answering his questions. Daryl had had trouble finding stable, long-term employment due to his background. Also, during this time, his wife was facing serious medical points â€" among them were spinal and dental surgical procedure. Daryl wanted and wanted to get back into the workforce and turn into a devoted, hardworking member of society once once more. Daryl worked intently with his career coach, Coral Duarte, to analysis and audit a number of faculties that offered the CDL training he wanted. Ultimately, he determined to begin training at a hundred and sixty Driving School. “I was two weeks away from eviction after I began my coaching for CDL,” says Daryl. While in coaching, Daryl also participated in lots of job search workshops. “National Able Network was the springboard for everything. I was skilled for job readiness, I participated in several workshops for job preparation…by way of National Able Network I was able to get the alternatives I needed,” says Daryl. He finished his coaching, studied hard, and successfully passed his CDL examination! Armed along with his credential and his newfound job search abilities, Daryl was quickly hired by US Express. Now that he's employed, Daryl says, “I can go to the dentist, get a physical, assist my wife, and my family. Daryl continues to say that his current employer gave him the chance to return to varsity without charge â€" all of which started at National Able Network. He says, “National Able [Network] modified my life.” Daryl’s suggestions for other job seekers is: “Stick with it. Get all the help [National Able Network is willing to supply. Take all the advice they're willing to offer. Go to each job honest. Years ago, I used to assist job seekers with their resumes with Operation Able on the HPNC, and at that time there was plenty of job opportunities for seniors.
